Why I Built Follow Steward
*Queue dramatic voice* We live in a world of engineered disposability. Our culture has shifted towards cheap goods that look like a bargain at the register, but quietly drain your wallet over time. It’s essentially a subscription fee to a landfill. (Gross!)
I couldn't find a tool that actually tracked the value of what I owned over time, rather than just the initial sting of the purchase. So I built Follow Steward; for me, and for you. It is designed to visualize the amortization of your assets, prove the math of 'buying once / crying once', and help you focus on lifetime value over initial sticker price. Get the most out of your things! Plus its just interesting to look at 🤓
